Our supermarket variety Instant Noodles tend to contain loads and loads of salt, MSG and other artificial flavourings/ chemicals.
Ditch the pack of soup/gravy mix and make your own soup base/ gravy.
Basic ingredients for the soup base:
Some Fresh Red Chillies
Puree the soup base
Saute the soup base with a little vegetable oil
When fragrant, add water, lots of thai basil, crushed black pepper, salt to taste
Add semi ripe papaya slices
When soup starts boiling, turn off heat and add instant noodles
Serve when noodles soften
(Spring onions/ parsley garnishing, optional)
